Current E. Russia forces consist of one infantry and two tanks. They could all roll in if you want. It will just cost for the tanks.

Okay just double-checked the tech tree, Benefits is only one tech away so the worst it'll cost us is $6 if we don't get any agreements. Not an issue at all.

I reorganized the military control panel to make our force organization a little more clear.

Probably not worth it then, since I don't want to send the tanks and have them unavailable for the Kazakhstan operation. If you send the infantry I'll add a diplomatic order requesting Georgia provide a military unit. Hopefully they agree and we'll have a second unit next turn to secure the borders.

Okay.
Grumpy said we can have the units start in Kazakhstan so long as we make it clear on our military control panel.
I should probably add a section for units being built.

We are going to need two units in Georgia eventually if we want to close both the iran and turkey border.

I thought about trying to ally with Ukraine, but I A)am not sure it would work, and B) want to keep at least some troops in Europe anyways in case something comes up. I asked China if they were okay with me trying to ally with Mongolia and they gave the go-ahead, so I was planning on doing that this turn.
If you'd prefer I try for Ukraine I can do that instead though.

So Light gear is free. I'm thinking of giving it to the W.Russia unit since then they can move two spaces in the future.

Also do we want to move some of the E.Russia tanks into Kaz now? It might help with infection gain.

I'm going to give the other unit that was in W.Russia Light gear as well just so they can be our quick response dudes.

I think two tanks and a militia seems like a good guard force. The only question is whether to keep the militia in Ukraine in case borders need closing, I think, since I don't believe tanks can fortify.

And Jay, we shouldn't need benefits of glory this turn (unless the virus creatures attack us anyways) so research whatever seems best to you.

Annexing nations seems to be the new trend; think we should try to annex Finland and Belarus (both seem fairly safe from infection right now)? On the other hand, annexing probably makes us more vulnerable to infection and terror disruptions.
