I'm unsure if the president or the military commander orders new unit construction, btw, so you should probably handle it. I was thinking 1 infantry and 1 firestarter, but it looks like we could maybe afford a third.

Fire starters seem kinda weird. They are basically infantry against virus? But cost less but have an upkeep?
If we build them make sure they are wherever we want to burn to the ground.
How about just three Firestarters? That would be $15 versus 1 infantry and two firestartes at $18.
Then we just send them into Iran.

German Military Commander is super open about sharing their plans. They are going to secure Bosnia Greece border and try and send a unit into Greece to help. They are also stationing their Baltic fleet to prevent infection spread north. They are also closing the German French Border.

Infantry are only $6 now because we're at Defcon 3.
... They're only closing the German French border *NOW*?

What does Defcon 3 get us again? I need to update the military control panel.

-1 cost on police and -2 cost on Infantry. I don't know if it changes construction time.

What does researching the weaponization of the virus get us? I am not suggesting we us the virus as a weapon, but it may give us a better understanding of how to control it.

I'd suggest skipping it. Though I suspect it improves the chance of using agents to spread it.

Tentative Military Orders
Move Two (2) Infantry and One (1) Tank unit from Romania to Ukraine after handing border control to the US to ensure the border between Romania and Greece remains fortified. ($2) Secure Greece/Turkey Border ($4) Move One (1) Tank Unit from Ukraine into E. Russia. ($2) Move One (1) Infantry Unit from E. Russia into Kazakhstan Move One (1) Militia unit from Kazakhstan into E. Russia. Make Double sure this unit is free from infection before moving them into E. Russia.
Buy Personal Air Filters for Fighter unit and Bomber Unit ($2)
Total: $10
Once we know which units to start building I can add that.
Also maybe have our Agent check E. Russia for Livestock or fish smuggling that could be infected?

This just in. China is going to launch a bomber attack on Iran next turn. They ask for assistance in either more bombers or fighter to defend the bombers from giant mutant birds or something.
Our air force does not have air filters yet. I'm not sure Bombers need them though? They are usually up pretty high.

I wouldn't risk it, particularly if there might be mutant bats or something.
I'd suggest building one infantry and one firestarter, $11 total.

Bats have definitely been an issue since day one, and giant mutated man-bats are a particular concern.

I just got confirmation that air filters take effect immediately. So we could buy filters for the planes AND have them attack and they'd have them for the attack. That would be just $6 for the attack. Or $2 for just fighter support
