Plus more good will and possibly do something good in Iran to slow down infection spread?
Worst case we learn that bombers are useless against infection.

Oh, then by all means offer help to our fine Chinese allies. I'm sure China has fighters too, though, so maybe we should just send the bombers
Slowing down whatever's going on in iran is of particular use to us since we're planning on beginning an offensive.

US is possibly sending bombers. I say we at least send our fighters to cover.
They are just sending bombers. I say we send both if we have the money.

That would bring us to
Tentative Military Orders
Move Two (2) Infantry and One (1) Tank unit from Romania to Ukraine after handing border control to the US to ensure the border between Romania and Greece remains fortified. ($2) Secure Greece/Turkey Border ($4) Move One (1) Tank Unit from Ukraine into E. Russia. ($2) Move One (1) Infantry Unit from E. Russia into Kazakhstan Move One (1) Militia unit from Kazakhstan into E. Russia. Make Double sure this unit is free from infection before moving them into E. Russia.
Buy Personal Air Filters for Fighter unit and Bomber Unit ($2) Deploy Bombers to Iran to Assist Chinese Bombers in attack ($4) Deploy Fighters to provide air support and protection to all bombers joining the mission ($2)
Total: $16
Build 1 Unit of Infantry and 1 unit of Firestarters
Total $11
Total $27

I think we can afford 6. Probably better to be safe and have fighters in the area just in case.

$27 military, $8 diplomacy means $35 total, so we're dipping into the bank. Still leaves up to $15 for science if needed, though that will empty the bank. Right now I don't see much point in saving.
Any estimate on science costs Jay?
I'm going to ask Finland for funding assistance next turn, and Belarus if they can provide us with a military unit.

I don't think we are going to need to spend much next turn on military. Most will be free infantry movements.

Science costs should be a bit lower, 11-12 total.

So Munkus, are you going to handle the diplomatic orders? What funding do we have? I was going to see if we could annex some of the nations we had conquered, particularly the Ukraine and also see about opening a dialogue with New Zealand.

Is there anything we can do to help Germany get firestarter technology?

Yeah, we can offer research agreements for any tech in that chain - I've offered it to their general, we'll see if they need any.

I was going to see if we could annex some of the nations we had conquered, particularly the Ukraine and also see about opening a dialogue with New Zealand. My planned diplomatic orders were these: Send a diplomat to Greece to advise them to close their border with Turkey. Purchase Antivirals for Kazakhstan ($4) Send a diplomat to Kazakhstan to ask them for permission to conduct Slash and Burn techniques to stop the virus. Remind them we've been kindly supplying them with antivirals but those wont work forever. Send a diplomat to Georgia/Azerbaijan to ask for an alliance ($4) Request Belarus provide us with military support. Request Finland provide extra funding for fighting the virus. Which should cost 8.

Could we spend the $4 from Georgia on Ukraine? It might get us more funding long term?
